Honorary Rangers
Dates have been set for West Rand HR Annual Birding Weekend in 2010
West Rand Honorary Rangers are pleased to announce that the dates have been set for the 12th Annual Birding Weekend to be held in 2010.
Our first weekend will be hosted at the following camps from 29 to 31 January 2010: Crocodile Bridge, Lower Sabie, Berg-en-Dal, Orpen, Olifants, Letaba, Mopani, Shingwedzi and Punda Maria (R1 500 per person). The second weekend will run from 5 to 7 February 2010 at Skukuza, Pretoriuskop, Satara and Punda Maria (R1 500 per person).
Guests may also book at one of the bush camps from 4 to 7 February 2010 (Talamati, Bateleur and Sirheni) and the cost will be R1 650 per person for the standard two nights (5 & 6 February), plus the prevailing SANParks rate for the Thursday night (4 February). The bush camps have four-bed bungalows so all bookings must be for a minimum of four, and thereafter in multiples of four.
Booking opens on 24 June 2009 and we urge you to get your forms in as soon as possible on or after that date (not before please - any early bookings will be returned for re-submission on opening date). Last year all the camps were full within 36 hours!
